A b o u t M y M u s i c
This is a section I had on the previous version of my web site but it used dhtml and ActiveX which could not be accessed by all browsers. So on this version I plan to re-design my album list using php and mySQL. The server side language will overcome compatibility problems by outputing pages in html.
Why am I brothering to do such a nerdy thing as put my album list on my web site? Well there are actually three good reasons:-
- Knowing I have a big collection, my friends often ask if I have a particular album,
- Keeping lists of possessions, particularly collections, away from the location of the possession so that should disaster strike at least your list will be safe.
- And my main reason - using my album list is a good way to practise dynamic web development.
So there you have it or rather you don't because it is still under development!
