Recycling collection days – green and brown plastic bags
- Properties where recycling and refuse is not collected on Thursday 25 December 2008
will have a normal collection on 29 December.
- The normal allowance for domestic refuse for each household is three
40 litre black bags, maximum weight per bag 10kgs (22lbs) per week.
- Households who will miss a collection due to a bank holiday will have
a double collection service only in the week following the non-collection.
- The allowance will double to six 40 litre black refuse bags in the week
following a non collection day.
